Litecoin Creator Charlie Lee Has Sold All His LTC

The creator of Litecoin [LTC]; Charlie Lee has sold all his holdings in the cryptocurrencies, referring to an apparent conflict of interest.

Posting on Reddit, developer Charlie Lee clarified that he no longer wants to ward off accusation his comments about LTC’s price are being surged for his own gains, and that he saw that his action was the ideal way to guarantee transparency over his actions.

He stated,

“Some people even think I short LTC! So in a sense, it is conflict of interest for me to hold LTC and tweet about it because I have so much influence.”

We do not know how many LTC that Lee was holding, and had sold, but now he stated that he is concentrating on developing Litecoin.

“This is definitely a weird feeling, but also somehow refreshing. Don’t worry. I’m not quitting Litecoin. I will still spend all my time working on Litecoin. When Litecoin succeeds, I will still be rewarded in lots of different ways, just not directly via ownership of coins. I now believe this is the best way for me to continue to oversee Litecoin’s growth,”.

On the same day, Lee was pretty busy tweeting to the public who got offended by his action.

He also replied to Novogratz’s tweet:

And left a challenge to Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.
